I have to admit, I'm getting jealous of all the crunchy, orange-y red leaf adorned blogs I've been reading lately. All's we've got so far is a few crisp-ish days and lots and lots of rain. Portland has its own way of doing things. Dryness is not its forte.
So, we splash and splatter and wait patiently for those coveted days of dry, crispy fall to come.
And take advantage in the meantime of the good photo-op light that the clouds provide!

Having grown up on the Olympic Penn - I understand that fall . . . but I much prefer the way Utah does it :) The storms come and go, and there's lots of blue sky when they go. . . I hope you all enjoy the puddles :)

It's raining here today also. Why do we get the fall rain and the cold snow winter? I would move there in a heartbeat!
Don't be tricked by the orange leaves that I've been taking pictures of...it's been raining almost every day here. As we say "crazy" weather, where it is sunshiney and then super rainy all in five minutes!
fall? what is this fall you speak of? It was 97 here today and is supposed to be 100 tomorrow.
I have a soft spot for Portland. We lived there for a little over a year, thirteen years ago. I got homesick for California and we came back with our tails between our legs, but I still love Portland, and have several dear friends there.
The puddle shots make me think of my oldest, who was three when we lived there. You have to have the proper rain gear in Portland!
The photo for your new header is beautiful. Magical! Makes me want to go puddle-jumping! ('Cept we don't have any puddles...)
