After a few conversations about the whys and hows and whats of writing, a certain little someone has decided to start his own blog (especially after noting the lack of Indiana Jones, Lego and reptile references on my blog...ahem).
So, without further ado, I present to you: Holden's Frog Blog (a collection of thoughts on the life of a five-and-3-quarter-year-old).
note: the phonetic spelling is kinda fun to decipher. He "writes" until his thoughts run too far ahead of his hunt & peck skills, and then I decode and take dictation. Emergent blogging skills, if you will...

holdens blog is adorable. my son had a blog for a week or two but then the fascination wore off. i think due to the fact that i was the only one commenting. he expected to start a blog and immediately have hundereds of readers. HA.
Welcome to the world of blogging, Holden!
Too fun Mel!
I love Holden's blog! One of the major points I'm hoping to make in my book is that developing a child's writing voice really ought to be the first goal of their writing education. Look how much voice he has as a writer! All you have to do is keep going, and help him hold on to that.
I'm sorry about your kitty. :-(
I love that you're encouraging Holden to blog!
I second Patricia's comments! Roll with the ideas, all the other still will come in due time.
